Buried With Dignity

Hello everyone on a serious note please take a second and visit my friend Maryann website http://www.buriedwithdignity.org what her and her team is doing for families is priceless.  Its so hard for families in this economy to give their babies a headstone due to the outrageous rates so these guys are raising money to help these families during their time of need.  Losing a child is heartbreaking enough and knowing that you cant afford a  headstone for your loved one only makes it worse.  So please just take a second to checkout the site and if you can offer support do so even if its by sharing this post with your friends.

Let’s talk about Cancer

So we are going to chat a minute about cancer.  I am sure everyone knows about it but here’s just a little info about what Cancer is.  This is something we should learn more about.  Know the signs please.

Cancer can be a few things, these are just a few definitions of Cancer a) a malignant new growth anywhere in the body of a person or animal; malignant tumor: cancers tend to spread locally and to distant parts of the body b) any of various diseases characterized by the uncontrolled growth of cells that disrupt body tissue, metabolism, etc.

A friend of mine father was diagnosed with Cancer.  He has been a fighter and a good fighter at that.  He is now in remission and is Cancer free.  His family never gave up hope and always kept the faith.  They prayed everyday and is there for him.

Basically remission is a relatively prolonged lessening or disappearance of the symptoms of a disease.

When you have a family member that has a disease like Cancer it’s very important to support that person and show them lots of love.  My friend has been taking good care of her father for some time now.

Her strong faith and prayers have helped make this experience a little easier to cope with.  Working full-time with the busy lifestyle she has and still having time to take care of her sick father is a blessing in itself.

We have to learn to take care of our parents when they are down, remember they took care of us until we were able to take care of ourselves.   My friend is an inspiration to many and to myself.  She has taught me that no matter how busy your life can be you still need to make time and take care of your family.

So I want to personally think my friend for being an inspiration in my life.  We also want everyone to just believe more and start to put your life in the hands of faith.

God do answer prayers and He will take care of you.  You have to realize that when you pray God has already answered your prayer you just don’t know it yet.

So the next you are struggling or having to deal with hardship , or when someone is sick or hurt just take a minute you don’t have to even get on your knees but just stop and say a prayer to the Lord.  I promise you He will listen and when the time is right He will make that prayer come true.

So this is for my friend who is my inspiration and it’s also for all those out here that fighting everyday to battle some type of illness.  I say to you keep on fighting and keep on praying because God is your weapon and you will win your battle if you just hold to His hand.

This is for you CAI and your father.  What a blessing you have received.  Always keep God first and walk by faith and you will never have to worry.

  Many blessings to all,

1krown

In memory of my Grandmother my Angel in Heaven

You left so soon.  It was just like it I woke up and you were gone.  I know you are in a much better place right now but oh how I miss you.

It’s just like it was yesterday and can see you smile.  I sit and picture you sitting by the stove staying warm on these cold days.  Now someone else is filling your seat.   How can that be?

You went to sleep that night with a smile even though you weren’t feeling well.  Is that because you knew you were about to go see our Father in Heaven.  Oh how you loved Him so.  You taught us so much about Him.

I am so happy you are with Him now and I know you will never have to ask for anything.  It’s nice to know you are watching over us also.  It makes is a little easier.

I remember Sunday mornings.  We always listen to Hymns.  I listen to some of the same ones you played for us now.  They sure bring comfort.

We played those Hymns for you every day after your stroke.  Hoping they would trigger a response.  I know they did even if we didn’t notice it.  You sure loved your Hymns.

Ha it was funny because the nurses would say we need to turn them up because a lot of other patients should hear them.  See even while you were in your sick-bed you was still spreading Gods word to others.

I remember coming up every evening after work.  We would sit and talk to you and laugh at things we had done.  It was fun because even though you really weren’t there to response you still heard us and I know your heart was smiling.

You hung around for 6 months bringing us closer and closer to God.  Sometimes I think it was meant to be that way.  We wanted to keep you here with us boy we wanted you to stay.  But God told us He had a better place for you.  Away from all pain so we started to understand what He was telling us.

We talked, we cried, we sit, we laughed, we prayed and in the end we all decided that what better gift to give someone who would give you everything than to give them the gift of Heaven.   You were so happy when we told you we were ok and ready for you to go home to Father.

It took a while for you to let go because I know you wanted to make sure we really were ok.  I saw it in your face.  You watched us all young and old, you saw it in our face that we were at peace.  You told God you were ready to come home because your children were gonna be ok.

God took you that night.  He bought you into paradise into a land of love and joy.  We honored you in the coming days after that.  We all carried you home to your final resting spot.

As we covered you up we didn’t say goodbye.  As we walked away we say said we will see you soon.  God knows we will see you soon and so do you.  As you and God watch over us today we know that you are so happy and you are happy to know we will see you again.

So today we still carry you in our heart and soul and we don’t go a day without thinking about you.  Sometimes we can see your smile and hear your laugh.  You would think everything was so funny.  We really loved that.  You could make the worst day super bright.

As I end this I couldn’t have asked for a better person in my life and our family.  You were our backbone and you still are.  The love you had for us will never fade.  We are taking care of business just like we promised you.

I know you are happy with us.  I can see it when the sunshine’s and the night falls its everywhere.  So my love, we are doing ok and we know you are to.  Say hi to our other family members for us.  Keep them under control if you can.  You know they can be a handful.

Until we see you in Heaven one day we will always send our love and we will always love others for you taught us to love everyone for we are all God’s children.

So rest in peace my wonderful Grandmother may your soul stay full of joy and your heart hold the gates of Heaven open for us one day.  For God has one of the sweetest and for we are so grateful that He gave you to us for over 80 years but we know He needed your sweetness in Heaven more than we needed it here on earth.

Thank you God for such wonderful woman and thank for such wonderful Heaven you have taken her to.  For knowing she is with you smiling down on us, watching over us and teaching us everyday makes it easier.  For no one on earth can take better care of her.

This is for my beloved grandmother (Clara Givens who departed this life and went to her home in Heaven) you are not gone for you will be in our souls forever.

For our tears are of joy may the sun wipe away the pain and let the rain of Heaven be upon us washing away our sins and bringing a new body to enter into Heaven one day.

For we are truly blessed,

1krown

Do you know about Agent Orange?

Some may say how I know about Agent Orange at my age.  Well was a disease that my uncle had along with having leukemia.  You don’t hear much about Agent Orange I am guessing because it mostly affects people that were in the Vietnam War.

Agent Orange is an herbicide that was prominently used in the Vietnam War as a exfoliate. Although the herbicide in Agent Orange does not cause any health problems, some of the other chemicals that it contains can be very dangerous. In recent years a variety of diseases have been linked to Agent Orange exposure.

It also appears to be a link between Agent Orange and type 2 diabetes.  This is just some info I found in my research on the disease.  You can learn more about Agent Orange by clicking this link http://www.livestrong.com/article/105450-agent-orange-disease/ .

It’s funny how you don’t know much about disease until it hit someone in your family then you start to do major researches and other things to find out about the disease like what cause this or how can I prevent it from happening to someone else or what are the signs I need to look for.  It’s time to research and learn about it before it happens.  It’s hard to fix something after it’s happened.

My uncle had Agent Orange but you wouldn’t have known it if he didn’t tell you.  He had no signs of it what so ever.  He ended getting Leukemia and fought a long hard battle for over 10 years.  He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it.

It was times when he was so sick he couldn’t get out of bed but that never stopped him.  It was also times that he spent weeks on weeks in the hospital as we waited to see if he would make it out.  By the grace of God he did.

He was a faithful church going man that lived each day by faith not by sight and I believe that’s why he had such wonder life and family considering the battle he was fighting.  His fight ended about 6 years ago.

He was ready to go home to be with our Father in Heaven so that’s what he did.  He got to see all his grandchildren grow up and his family was happen and they were ok for him to go.  We are still thankful for him and what he has taught us of the years.  He passed away at 56 years old.

So when you are sitting around bored do some research and learn something you may very well be able to help someone live a happier life.  To find out more info about Agent Orange and Leukemia got to www.webmd.com and search for these diseases.  I am not saying this is perfect but it’s a start to some research that could be life changing to you or your loved ones.  But when in doubt always contact your family doctor and get checked and let them help you research your illness.  You can also go to www.livestrong.com to do some health research.

We have to start somewhere and we can do so now by a simple search on www.webmd.com or www.livestrong.com .

Stay blessed,

The hidden illness (MS)

I am sure everyone has heard of Multiple Sclerosis aka MS.  It is a disease that affects the central nervous system—the brain and spinal cord. It can cause problems with muscle control and strength, vision, balance, feeling, and thinking.

It has a different effect in each person.  They say it is more common in women than men.  There also seem to be different stages.  This disease may be overlooked by some since it’s not as deadly as cancer.

Everyone should do some research on MS if time is available.  It’s really amazing what happens to your body when you have this disease.  MS is very unpredictable. Your symptoms may suddenly get worse with no warning, or you may go for years without any problems.

I have a good friend that has MS.  He is a hard-working and has been living with the disease since being diagnosed in 2005.  To see him on the street you would never know anything was wrong with him.

There are times when he is not able to do the things we consider small but for someone with MS the small challenges in everyday life can be very hard.

When you get to know someone with a disease such as MS it really opens your eyes to how you live your life.  We take so much for granted that we forget we are not immune to disease.

Even celebrities such as Montel Williams and Teri Garr are afflicted with MS.

Do you know the signs of MS?  If you do you need to go to www.medicinenet.com and search Multiple Sclerosis and learn about it.  It could very well save your life or someone you love. Or for more information on MS, visit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society website at www.nationalmssociety.org.

#teampray4acure update

We will be working on having window decals, bumper stickers, shirts, armbands and much more that you can wear or put on your car to get the word out.

If I decide to sell these items the money will be split among different causes that they can use for research.

Me and my staff are going to donate whatever money is needed to purchase the products to make the above items.

I look forward to growing this wonderful cause and seeing the power of prayer at work.

Stay blessed

The reason behind 1 krown …

So by now a lot of people have heard of me and is probably wondering what 1 krown is and why I picked that name.  Ok here it is goes.

1 krown is simple.  We all should be working to receive our crown one day in Heaven. Basically 1 crown is all you need and that’s the crown from God.  Some may think oh I am rich I have many crowns but Breaking News that crown don’t mean anything when the gates of Heaven swing open.

I want 1 krown to bring joy, hope, love, kindness, wisdom, love, care and much more to anyone who needs to be refreshed.  If you live by faith and work towards your Heavenly crown you will have no worries.  I know it’s a lot easier said then done but trust me you have to try.

I know we have different religions out here and some people don’t believe anything but that’s ok because everyone has a right to believe and worship who they love and none of us have the right to judge them.  Keep that in mind daily everyone its (Not our right to judge) all judging is done by God and if you live right and ask for forgiveness and forgive those in your life you will have no worries.

“For those that don’t believe in anything I just say keeping on living but keep in the back of your head somewhere (what if) … should I be out here doing this or that (what if) He is real … should I down other religions because I don’t believe (what if) He is listening … I am just saying that if there really is a God you don’t or shouldn’t hurt your chances of enter Heaven one day if it is a Heaven … again this is for those that don’t believe”

I believe, I wear 1 crown, I work for 1 God, I live by faith, family and friends.  My all is through God’s love that He has for me.  So I say 1 krown with joy and hope.  1 krown is here to inspire you to love and be kind.  I am not wanting to tell you about how you should believe or how you should worship I am here to tell you its time for us to show more love and kindness and that we need to stop being a judge because it’s NOT our job to do so.

So when you hear or see 1 krown just remember its the 1 and only crown you will need and it comes for God through His grace and mercy.

My faith has grown and changed a lot this year and I am truly grateful for that.  I hope I am making my Grandma proud by learning the Gospel more and living by faith.

This is for all the loved one’s I have lost and for those to come.  We shed tear’s for you but I know you have your 1 Crown.

Be blessed

Teampray4acure (join me)

A dear friend posted something and said that her wish for Christmas was we prayed for a cure for cancer.  After reading that it inspired me to blog about it and ask my friends to join her in her mission.  It may not change anything but its all worth it if it can just bring joy to one person.  Sometimes in our busy lives we forget that someone somewhere didn’t go about their day today because God has called them home.  So before you complain about money, relationships, cars, clothes, fame, etc just stop and think …. then you will see that so many won’t wake to even have the chance to complain about anything.  These illnesses take so many people we love daily.  It can be a family member or a public icon on tv, etc one way or another it happens in your life.  Of course we all know that God has the final say in our lives but I believe that we can make a difference.  God gets joy in us doing His work so I say let’s make our Father in Heaven proud.

I will be blogging soon about pray for a cure.  Money is worthless when it comes to the power of prayer.  Cancer, heart, MS, etc any illness out here we need to pray for a cure, pray for knowledge and power, pray for hope and joy just straight up pray. Prayer is power and it can move mountains.  Let’s get out here and do Gods work and wonders through praying daily.

I will be blogging more about this but wanted to give people a heads up.  Also join my facebook page 1krown blog.  Leave comments and prayers.  If you want me to blog about something let me know.

This is personal to me.  So may have lost loved ones to one type of illness at some point.  This is not about money but prayer and the powers that move through prayer.

Join me and my friends
