This is one of my favorite hymns – Lyrics to its your time by Luther Barnes
Enjoy
You’ve been faithful, you’ve been true And you’ve done all that you can do And for your faithfulness, it’s your time You applauded for the rest Now it’s your time to be blessed And for your faithfulness, it’s your time
You’ve waited for so long But you held on, and you were strong And for your faithfulness, it’s your time You encouraged everyone else When you needed it for yourself And for your faithfulness, it’s your time
You encouraged everyone else When you needed it for yourself And for your faithfulness, it’s your time
This song is dedicated to all of you who have been working in the vineyard for the Lord for what seems like a lifetime. You have dreamed and you’ve worked towards things that you’ve wanted to accomplish for yourself. But somehow your biggest goals always seem to be just out of your reach. But the Lord told me to tell you He knows who you are. Yes, He’s seen your work and He’s also seen your tears. And He wants you to know that you are not forgotten. He’s here to reward you for all your faithfulness. For He said in His word if you will delight yourself in Him, He will give you the desires of your heart. In other words, not only will He give you what you need, but He promised to give you whatever you want. So don’t get discouraged. So don’t give up. Hang in there and prepare yourself for your blessing. It’s your time now.
You have waited for so long. But you held on, you were strong And for your faithfulnessBecause you hung in there when times got hard And when it seemed like nobody cared You kept right on working You kept right on doing good things And for your faithfulness And for your faithfulness, it’s your time He told me to tell you, it’s your time

In memory of my Grandmother my Angel in Heaven
You left so soon. It was just like it I woke up and you were gone. I know you are in a much better place right now but oh how I miss you.
It’s just like it was yesterday and can see you smile. I sit and picture you sitting by the stove staying warm on these cold days. Now someone else is filling your seat. How can that be?
You went to sleep that night with a smile even though you weren’t feeling well. Is that because you knew you were about to go see our Father in Heaven. Oh how you loved Him so. You taught us so much about Him.
I am so happy you are with Him now and I know you will never have to ask for anything. It’s nice to know you are watching over us also. It makes is a little easier.
I remember Sunday mornings. We always listen to Hymns. I listen to some of the same ones you played for us now. They sure bring comfort.
We played those Hymns for you every day after your stroke. Hoping they would trigger a response. I know they did even if we didn’t notice it. You sure loved your Hymns.
Ha it was funny because the nurses would say we need to turn them up because a lot of other patients should hear them. See even while you were in your sick-bed you was still spreading Gods word to others.
I remember coming up every evening after work. We would sit and talk to you and laugh at things we had done. It was fun because even though you really weren’t there to response you still heard us and I know your heart was smiling.
You hung around for 6 months bringing us closer and closer to God. Sometimes I think it was meant to be that way. We wanted to keep you here with us boy we wanted you to stay. But God told us He had a better place for you. Away from all pain so we started to understand what He was telling us.
We talked, we cried, we sit, we laughed, we prayed and in the end we all decided that what better gift to give someone who would give you everything than to give them the gift of Heaven. You were so happy when we told you we were ok and ready for you to go home to Father.
It took a while for you to let go because I know you wanted to make sure we really were ok. I saw it in your face. You watched us all young and old, you saw it in our face that we were at peace. You told God you were ready to come home because your children were gonna be ok.
God took you that night. He bought you into paradise into a land of love and joy. We honored you in the coming days after that. We all carried you home to your final resting spot.
As we covered you up we didn’t say goodbye. As we walked away we say said we will see you soon. God knows we will see you soon and so do you. As you and God watch over us today we know that you are so happy and you are happy to know we will see you again.
So today we still carry you in our heart and soul and we don’t go a day without thinking about you. Sometimes we can see your smile and hear your laugh. You would think everything was so funny. We really loved that. You could make the worst day super bright.
As I end this I couldn’t have asked for a better person in my life and our family. You were our backbone and you still are. The love you had for us will never fade. We are taking care of business just like we promised you.
I know you are happy with us. I can see it when the sunshine’s and the night falls its everywhere. So my love, we are doing ok and we know you are to. Say hi to our other family members for us. Keep them under control if you can. You know they can be a handful.
Until we see you in Heaven one day we will always send our love and we will always love others for you taught us to love everyone for we are all God’s children.
So rest in peace my wonderful Grandmother may your soul stay full of joy and your heart hold the gates of Heaven open for us one day. For God has one of the sweetest and for we are so grateful that He gave you to us for over 80 years but we know He needed your sweetness in Heaven more than we needed it here on earth.
Thank you God for such wonderful woman and thank for such wonderful Heaven you have taken her to. For knowing she is with you smiling down on us, watching over us and teaching us everyday makes it easier. For no one on earth can take better care of her.
This is for my beloved grandmother (Clara Givens who departed this life and went to her home in Heaven) you are not gone for you will be in our souls forever.
For our tears are of joy may the sun wipe away the pain and let the rain of Heaven be upon us washing away our sins and bringing a new body to enter into Heaven one day.
For we are truly blessed,
1krown

Don’t say you are if you can’t do right …
One thing that really bothers me is when people say they are a Christian but then turn right around and treat people like they are worthless.
How can you call yourself a Christian but have no respect towards others? Do you even know what it means to be a Christian or how to treat others? Have you read certain areas of your Bible that teaches you how you should treat someone? What gives you the right to judge someone?
Let me just give the meaning of a Christian.
- A Christian is a person who adheres to Christianity, an Abrahamic, monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, who they believe is the Messiah (the Christ in Greek-derived terminology) prophesied in the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible, and the Son of God.
Now what does religion mean. Here we have a few definitions.
- A strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; “he lost his faith but not his morality”
- Religion is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a supernatural agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
Now I want to address how a real Christian should act. I think that Christians should treat others just like what they call the “Golden Rule” which is one should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated (negative/prohibitive form). Also, in the (New American Standard Bible) Luke 6:31 says: “(A) treat others the same way you want them to treat you. You can go to Cross references: Matt 7:12
With that being said we as good humans trying to live right should also follow Luke 6:27- 28
- Luke 6:27-28 “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, “bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.”
It also says in Luke 6:37
- Luke 6:37 Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
One of my favorite verses is in Matthew 5:11-12
- Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
So every time someone mistreat me I try to remember Matthew 5:11-12 because I want my reward in Heaven.
I consider myself a Christian and I always treat others like I like to be treated. I do not judge others because that’s not my job to do so.
So please don’t say you are a Christian if you can’t treat people right. When you do that you make those of us Christians who are doing our best and is doing right look bad. You are also playing with God.
So the next time you get ready to throw up in someone’s face how you are such a good Christian think for a second on what you are about to say or do that made you say that phase and if you can’t treat that person the way you would want to be treated than don’t say you are a good Christian.
In short no one is perfect and no one will always treat everyone fairly but it sure won’t hurt to just try a little harder sometimes. And when we are mad or about to say something we know may come across rude or disrespectful we need to stop, take a deep breath and say is it really that bad.
We have to learn to love each other and treat each other with deserved respect. Let’s get that reward one day.
Many blessings

Moody people …
It’s like the more you try the more people seem to treat you like crap. I just don’t understand it. Maybe you can inform me on how to be perfect since so many out here think they are. Don’t ever make a mistake because if you do the world may just end.
Some people act like that were born into this world with all the knowledge or etc they need and no one else has any. It so pisses me off. You are no better than I am so why you acting like you are.
Some people get up on this little high horse like they are golden and no one can be better than them. I got news for you buddy because you need to come off your high horse because you can’t ride it to Heaven.
I wonder how people gonna act when they meet God. I am sure some will try to tell Him He is wrong because they know everything. It is gonna be a lot of humiliated people out here.
They good thing about me is that I can vent about it and move on. I always forgive but I will never forget. I also don’t ever wish something on someone no matter how I am treated.
I am sure that at some time in their life they two well get bad treatment and realize wow that’s how I treat people or at least we can only hope that they will learn how to be more respectful.
It’s a new day … never stop

Just wondering …
Sometimes we wonder why certain things happen. Why some people have it made and others don’t. Some get so sick and others are just so healthy. It’s just amazing how some things work out. We don’t realize what we have until it’s gone.
We go on about our day being all happy and having fun while someone somewhere is sick or suffering. We sometimes never seem to worry about anything even if it’s right in our face. That can be good sometimes I guess.
We complain about not having this or not having that but we seem to look pass those that have NOTHING at all not even a family. We worry so much about material things and money that we forget the most important things and that’s God, family and friends.
We get caught up in the technology and other stuff that’s around us nowadays. We even forget about our heath. Our health should be the most important thing to keep let’s say upgraded. Without our health we wouldn’t be anything.
So start to think more about what’s really important in life and put more focus on those things.

Do you know?
Friends, what is a friend? I guess for some that’s hard to tell. Well in my opinion a friend is there no matter what. They check on you when you are sick and hurt, they help you when times are hard. A true friend is not always there when you call but they are always on time. I got some great friends and I am very happy about that. They are always around just in time and would do anything for their friends.
Also, I gotta touch on bosses nowadays. What do you think makes a good boos?
Give me your feedback. My ex-boss is in my opinion the best boss on the planet. She is always around when you need her, she never look down on you. She’s a true friend to the end. She’s one that is still your friend long after you don’t work together, she calls or text everyday to see how you are doing. I am truly grateful to have this person in my life. She has truly made me a stronger person because I know when I need something and my family can’t help me I can always turn to her and I know I will never be let down.
My family is my rock and my true friends are to. I couldn’t have made it this far without my family and true friends. For them I am grateful. The love I have for my family is irreplaceable and so it what I have for the very very few I call true friends.
I hope you can find someone special to you like I have found.
Keep on looking and it will happen.
Best regards

Children & the lack of respect
Ok so I want to touch on a topic that can be a little hard for some people. That’s totally ok because it all depends on how you were raised and how you discipline your children. I want to talk about children and the lack of respect they show their parents and elders.
It seems that the lack of respect children have for their parents is on the rise. I don’t think some kids realize just how important their parents are. The lack of respect for elders in general is on the rise also. I just sit back sometime and wonder what is wrong.
I heard a 14 year straight out disrespect her mother to the fact that she called her a b***h and the mother just looked at her. What happen to the discipline? How could you stand there and allow your child to talk to you like that without comforting her?
I am not that old but I can tell you right now that if I talked to my mother like that I would most likely either not be here today or would be in some type of disability from getting the crap slapped out of me. I have so much respect for my mother that I would give her any and everything she needs.
I have never had a spanking because I knew better than to disrespect my family. My grandparents made it real clear to us how to act and how to show respect and I am so grateful for them. I believe that being raised mostly by my grandparents because my mom worked all day made me a little stronger.
I grew up with my half-brother for the most part. We stayed at my grandparent’s house everyday while our parents were working. We helped them if they needed something and if we weren’t helping them then we were outside playing.
We stayed outside and played all day unless it was bad weather. We would come in for lunch then a nap then we were right back outside playing. Kids nowadays won’t go outside in play if you paid them to. They are so caught up in video games.
Don’t get me wrong we played video games also. I sometimes wonder is the lack of fresh air causing some of the issues we have with children. Maybe if they would get outside more and learn some hard work from their grandparents’ they would be a little more respectful. What do you think?
These kids out here today have it made. They get whatever they want. You would think they would be more respectful. You can’t discipline your child anymore because they want to call the cops. Maybe when they threaten to call the cops the parents should just take them to the police station it would help save on your phone bill.
I say it’s time to go back to some old school teaching of discipline and respect. It’s time these kids learn how to respect people not only their parents but everyone. A lot of times when people are disrespectful to others they don’t even respect themselves. It’s time for a change.
Young people you need to cherish your family. You may get married and have a family n law as I call it but no one can ever replace your blood family. You need to cherish your mother and father because you only get one and cherish your grandparents they are the backbone of your family.
Let’s try to make a change everyone and let’s start by learning to respect your own self. I am not saying this is going to be easy but we have to start somewhere. Parents you need to stand up and start showing your children who is the parent and start teaching them some discipline. A little hard love won’t hurt anyone I promise.
And children you need to step it up and start respecting your parents they are your firm support when times are hard and when times are good. Cherish them and love them daily show them that they mean more than anything to you
